Welcome to the Vibrational Academy of Sound Therapy: VAST

VAST offers an inspiring, spiritual and magical journey through sound, resonance and vibration.  All our vibrational sound courses incorporate innovative techniques and diverse methods of delivering sound as a way of healing and restoration.  Our sound courses are empowering, super fun, and emphasize how to use the Gong and other sound healing instruments, such as crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls. ​Your VIBRATION will never be the same!

  • Experience the Gong in a professional and playful(l) manner, fostering spiritual connection with this Cosmic Sound Resonator. Various gongs will be provided for learning and playing.

  • Our courses focus on establishing a strong groundwork by teaching playing techniques and enhancing listening skills, enabling you to achieve a mindful and self-aware state.

  • Advancing through the training, you will explore the attributes of creating a space that is sacred, healing, and resonating with harmony.

  • Discover techniques for playing the 'Crystal Singing Bowls' and explore various ways to enjoy group playing

  • Gain insights into playing the 'Tibetan Singing Bowls' and engage in partner playing.

  • In addition, you will be introduced to Chimes, Rainsticks, and other therapeutic sound instruments to enhance your learning experience.

  • Take the opportunity to relax and explore individual 'me time' with a range of Gongs and other instruments.​

VAST "Essentials" with Certification

Course Curriculum​​​

  • Dao of the Gong. Gong history and terminology. 

  • Landscape of the gong. Types of Gongs. Use of different gong mallets.

  • Playing the Gong. Warm Up Techniques #1 & #2. Gong strokes and specific techniques for single and combination mallet strikes.

  • The effects of playing different areas and percussion points. Four Quadrants. Intro: Sound with rhythm and playing patterns.

  • The importance of intuition, listening, breathing during gong playing.

  • Hung gong strokes.

  • Crystal & Tibetan Singing Bowls. Instructions. Playing. Useful Tips.

  • If time allows: Chakra Toning.

  • In addition: several easy-to-use healing sound instruments will be introduced.
